NATURAL
Ya, for me...building is now the most significant environment for human. Especially in the developed world. Now a days, human are overlook about the important of natural and focus on enhance the city. But, natural is important. Their co-existence and symbiotic relationship has continually provide us a comfortable environment to live, work and other activities. 'ENBE' is a variety of techniques will be explore throughout the module such as identifying, exploring, analyzing, comparing and evaluating the different elements found in the natural and built environment.

Project 1 [Site visit]- Representing Nature (The Habitat Info graphic Poster)
Group Leader: Wilson Liew Yong Sheng
Group Members: Parham Farhadpoor, Kevin Lee, Kimberley Ee Sze Ann and I (Tan Chuu Yee).
Introduction: This project is to aware conscious of the elements of the natural and built environment and reveal the elements of the natural and built environment in their basic unit, form and function. Main tasks of this project are to explore, experience, and appreciate the natural habitat during site visit. It is compulsory for the students to attend a site visit with their group members as organised by the lecturers.
Students required to: [Group work]
- Record the things that excite your senses
- Record the surrounding and activities
- Record and explore 10 x10m site
- The documentary video
- The habitat info graphic poster
For individually, power point report are included. I need to record at least one plant species and animal or insect. On the other hand, I need also record five senses experience and understand about ecosystem.

First project that organised by our lectures. Firstly, our lectures plan that our courses have a 2 day 1 night trip to Riverstone for our first project. It was my first time approach nature and I remember there were no electric provide. Reason that they don't have electric provide was let us know about the meaning of nature!

Reflection: First, I should say sorry to my lecture because we do something wrong for our presentation. I know that we need to listen advice from teacher when teacher tell us the mistake for our project that's why we have tutorial class. I still remember what lecture say, 'Attitude' is the most important that all people need to know and change. I know that presentation need more of brave and skill to present your thing to become interesting and nice. Then, teamwork is another important thing for a group. If a group that didn't do their group work together it will become like separate and not look like group work.
To be honest, I have learn many experiences for this journey. I love the weather in the early morning because the air was quite fresh. I realized that it was big different with 'Kampung' and city.

The Journal 1 [Conservation of wildlife]
Introduction: This is the first journal that I received. I knew that wildlife conservation is protect endangered plant and animals species and their habitats. You can take a view in this slide share. You will know more information about conservation of wildlife.
Reflection: We should protect endangered animals and plants because Malaysia is wet tropical country that is home to some of the world's oldest rain forest and a remarkable array of wildlife species. Important, we need to stop the activity that brought negative effect on wildlife. In addition, I research that the ways to conserve wildlife and why human need to conserve wildlife.

Related learned knowledge to everyday life
Through this assignment, I learn about conversation wildlife is important to work. Conserving the endangered animals and plants is the responsibility for all people.

The Journal 2 [Symbiotic relationship in nature]
Introduction: Symbiotic have 5 types. Through my research I found that symbiosis can be describe to 5 types such as Mutualism, Commercialism, Parasitism, Competition and Neutralism. So, I choose 3 types from symbiosis and exploration it. I have do a lot of research for this journal to get more information to complete my journal.
Reflection: In my opinion, I have do the research about SYMBIOTIC relationship in NATURE. First, I need to know the meaning of symbiotic and how does it related with nature and have how much type of SYMBIOTIC. Now, through research I knew the meaning of Mutualism. For example, Mutualism is something like 2 Organisms of different species 'work together'.

The Journal 3 ['Capturing' Public Spaces]
Introduction: The journal need to be choose a SITE and plan the trip and plan what to capture. Then, take picture at site and notes of the selected public spaces and arrange it as a 'visual note-taking'. EXP: the space look like at night, layout of site, the activities, the signage's at site, annotation, details and descriptions on the materials and usage, physical and intangible elements at site.

Reflection: Through this journal, I learn more about public spaces at Kuala Lumpur and the meaning of public spaces. I take a trip to visit KLCC. KLCC PARK was a great place for all the people to relax and take a breath. The environment is quite nice at there. The most attracting for me is the fountain that shows when night. I like the view so much.

Through this trip, I have clearly know about what is public space and let me know that the public spaces is the place for the rest to communicate each other. Then, I have pay attention for looking any place to know the truth of the surroundings.

So, the front cover is show about the nature that behind the modern city and try to tear and look about what is the important about the city because this course is talk about the natural and built environment. Then, my book cover was focus about the building and nature. Beside, the back of the cover is use the picture that I experience through this course.

Project 2 [Built Environment]- The Future City Representation
Introduction: The quality of a city will relate back to the topics investigated in Project One. This project will show us about every city is not the same with the heart of every city is the people and their activities. We are required to investigate about a past, present and future city. Then, collect the information and bring through your future city that required. The future city should be focus on the facilities, infrastructures, the needs of the people and how it sustain itself in the future city. Before you start to plan a city, you should think of the transportation, markets, business area, education area and etc.
PART A
Individual Component
A4 Report of my City- Focus on the collected information, progress and development and proper written and organised data about the new proposed of FOW City.
Video Presentation of my City- Explain proposal of my FOW City. The video will include the image, diagrams, short description, keywords, plans, sections perspectives, sketches, illustrations and other drawings etc.

Through this project, I need to act as a mayor and fulfill my citizen..

Reflection: This assignment show about planning a city not a easy thing and planning a city not depend on your mind think that was beautiful, nice and something. It is focus on the city should be work and how it sustain. Then, this assignment has enabled me to see cities in a new light and given me a new justice for cities and city planners.Furthermore, I have also learnt that built a city that floating on water for future city it is key that the city can overcome the earthquake and the transportation in the city prefer as using boat or bicycle but still can providing it's citizens with the highest quality of life.

Introduction: Each group required to make the model and prepare an two pieces of A2 board for presentation board. We need to take on these comments and improve the city have been choose. We need to plan and discuss as a group to create a MODEL of the city.
Blossom city was choose as our model.
There are some requirement that set out by our lecturers:
1. A2 size and 60 cm as our model space.
2. Presentation board as two A2 board.
3. Only 3 color there are limited except black and white.

Reflection: This assignment show about making a model of a city not a easy thing. First, we need to measure everything before cutting and this assignment show me a new sight and given me a new appreciate for city and city planners.
Important, enhancing a city for the future. Through this group component, I have learn that a good team work and a good leadership is important as a group work. Next, I was able to learn how to make a model of a city that look like real and more details.
