The information that about Creative Thinking Skills is making and communicating connections,think of many possibilities,think and experience in various way and use different point to view anything and think of new and unusual possibilities.

Creative Thinking Skills also means about compare and contrast idea,improve and refine idea,make effective decisions and judgments.

Teacher that who is  teaching me are Ms Delliya Zain. She was a good teacher that always give us many suggestion when doing assignment.

Project 1 [Musical performance]- Daily object as musical instrument

Group A

Group leader: Liew Yong sheng

Group members: Phua Jing Sern, Peng Yiap Seng, Steven Kwan, Melvin LIm, Kimberley Ee Sze Ann, Seem Leng Khor and myself (Tan Chuu Yee).

Introduction: This project given to us during our first CTS lecture and it was nine group and each group have given main song by our lecture. This project provides laughter, enjoyment, life long benefits of fun and a overall learning process. We need to creating music with an instruments is a positive and joyful experience for all to share, enhancing our emotional well-being.

Individual documentation-
Requirement about documentation: Choosing songs, daily items as instruments (exploration), planning the performance (dance/costume/research), Investigation (the way to create musical instrument using daily object, what would make a good performance, etc.), Band Name, Poster etc.


Project 1 from 宇韵 漠

My reflection: Honestly, before performance that my group have a lot of practice. Sometime I will feel annoying when practice because it was too hard for me to song and dance and I have no confidence to sing and dance. But, we also try our best to practice. I have realize something in the process of our performance. Something like friendship, teamwork, believe each other and etc. I had overcome my nervous when stand on the stage and my friend and I trying to singing louder to made our performance more interesting.Then, I still remember about my instrument. I have redo my instrument three time and finally I have done my instrument. I knew that Ms.D advise me about instrument not only make sound, it also need creative. I have learnt that apply practical, critical and creative thinking skills within a variety of doing assignments.

Related learned knowledge to everyday life


Through this performance, I have gain more brave to stand on the stage and show a good performance. Therefore, this brave I can bring it to my future.

Idea Journal 1 [Getting to know your new friend- The Daily Object]

Introduction: For this assignment, we are given a object to know our new 'friend' through create 2 or more mind mapping to understand my object. As I know, we need to create a name and logo for our object by creative skills. Then, we also need carry our 'friend' around us to get know more about it.

Reflection: My new friend is a paper clip. It was a sample thing that we almost will saw at every place. So, I have no really even think about it. But, when I get this assignment, I've do some research and I know that about history of paper clip. Then, I have also made a logo and name for my friend. It was a funny, creative and special way to do my logo and name.

Idea Journal 2 [What can you do and cannot do with your daily object]

Introduction: Through this journal I getting know more about paperclip and I research a lot of information about what can do and cannot do with paperclip. It information let me get more interest to do more research.

Reflection: I do some experiment with my daily object (Paperclip). I try to burn, magnet, throw, band, build a necklace, boil, conduct electric and make paperclip float on water. Before I do this journal, I though that paperclip is cannot float on water and then I try to 'GOOGLE'. Surprising to me, paperclip actually can float on water if you add some step. This 'Journal' make me learn a lot of things about paperclip.

Introduction: For this journal, we need to think and imagine that our daily object is a super hero and what it can do. First step, we need to give it a super power, super hero name, costume and it's enemy.

Idea Journal 4 [AnalogyMetaphorSimile and Personification based on daily object and one based on another]

Introduction: Describe my daily object to analogy, metaphor, simile and personification. The information must be related back to your object and made it more interesting. So I metaphor it like (Paper clip as a CLAY when it banded). Each adjective suppose to have 3 example and 1 non-example.

My reflection: Paper clip is a stationary that everywhere you can found it. But, do you really understand what is 'PAPER CLIP' and what does it use for another ways? Normally, human use paper clip just for hold a sheet of paper. Through this idea journal, I found that they are many types, uses, special, advantages, disadvantages, how to describe it, imagine, etc. That is the interesting to know more about paper clip.

Introduction: This was a final IDJ, it required to design a book cover for our compilation file/ folder that related with my daily object and show how it is interesting or create simple life story for my daily object.

The causes that I not professional in drawing and coloring so I use the way cut and paste to do my book cover. I learn that cut and paste also another way that can use at my future study.

Project 2 [Final Project]- Creating a Game out of Daily Objects

Part A- Individual component

Introduction: This project is given to us after project one. What I knew about this project is we need to create an actual interactive game from the given daily object and the game should be improve our social relationship and communication or strengthens team work and etc. My daily object is paperclip. So, I need to create a game and that must be related with my daily object and it should consider level, freshness, surprises and no 'king maker effect'. Add on, we also need to do booklet for this project.

My reflection: I knew that create a game not a easy thing after this project. The game should be interesting to attract people play it. Usually, a game should be competitive and cooperative. It is a hard to create a attractive game but finally I done through experiment, investigation and exploration my games to make it more attractive and creative.

My reflection: Through this game component, I have able to realize that good teamwork and overall arrangement of work between teamwork. On the other hand, I learn about plan a game that should be go on smoothly and account of everything that can go wrong on the actual day. We also have apply our game and increase the suitability to be played on the tournament day.
